Believe It Or Not....
We never participated in Study Abroad in high school or college. We wanted to, but because our parents were partially paying our tuition and fees out of pocket, we didn't want to put the extra financial burden on them. Hence, our first study abroad experience were as adults at 34 years old. Guess where we went?
Funny story...we were supposed to chaperone half a dozen students but they all cancelled at the last minute. We decided to join in with another college tour on the same tour dates.

The course will focus on college students who are first generation to college, from lower-income backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, or from historically underrepresented backgrounds.
By the end of this course, we hope you’ll feel more confident in envisioning yourself studying abroad as a tangible college option. We look forward to a rich conversation and the opportunity to answer all of your questions!

College Break
We've travelled to Rome & Florence, Italy and Cannes & Nice, France (2009); Florence/Tuscany region, Italy (2012); and London (2019) via the local community college in our area. They offer trips to students, staff, and locals in the community during their Spring or Summer Breaks. They have used two different tour companies, EF Tours and Collette Vacations. We went on these trips as non-credit; although, there is an option for academic credit. Our next trip with their college study abroad trip will be in 2023 to Barcelona, Spain.
